Major Indecision

Owned and driven by George Stewart, Major Indecision is an under 401cui prostock. It is based on a Fordson Major, with a Ford Cargo 6 cylinder engine, Bosch fuel pump, Holset turbo, specially profiled camshaft, and water injection system.

Major Indecision at New Deer

Major Indecision was the first tractor puller to be based in Deskford, and was bought by George in 1999. Originally built by Gordon Sangster (Herbie) and Billy Walker, it was named "The Excavator" in its early years. Next owned by Norman Lucey, who changed the name to Major Indecision. The tractor has had mixed fortunes on the track over the years, breaking camshafts on a regular basis (4 in one year!), but it is more reliable now. Thanks to the addition of water injection and some fine tuning of the camshaft timing before the 2009 season, Major Indecision displayed some excellent performances at Angus Show, Kirkbride and Great Eccleston.
